La Polillita was born from a love of the strange, the beautiful, and the almost-forgotten. 🗝️
A place where old-world romance meets a touch of grit, where soft shadows slip across velvet textures, and where clothing feels less like fashion and more like a tiny spell you wear on your skin.
I’ve always been drawn to things that feel alive — textures that whisper, colors that hum, brass hardware, moth wings, vintage lace, forest air, pages left open too long. I never wanted to create clothing that simply follows trends. I wanted pieces that feel like you discovered them in a forgotten drawer, or tucked inside an old trunk in a room filled with incense, warm light, and stories.
Every collection is its own little world.
Some are dreamy and ocean-washed (Luna Marina).
Some are quiet, feral, and rooted in forest lore (Sylvan Soul).
Some lean into gothic romance and bone-deep beauty (Crypt Couture).
Each drop has its own tone, palette, and mood — but all share the same soul: moody, mystical, vintage-inspired, and deeply artistic.
🦋 How Each Piece is Made 🦋
Every illustration begins at my own hands.
Every moth, bone, flower, wave, stripe, and relic starts as a sketch — drawn late at night, in golden afternoon light, or whenever inspiration strikes. These original artworks become the prints on many of my clothing pieces, produced through print-on-demand partners who manufacture each item as it’s ordered.
This reduces waste, keeps the shop small and intentional, and ensures every made-to-order piece carries that “touched-by-art” feeling.
La Polillita also includes curated, sourced items.
Alongside my original designs, I hand-select specialty items from trusted dropshipping suppliers — pieces that match each collection’s world and aesthetic. These can include shoes, jewelry, accessories, or garments that complement the illustrated pieces and complete the mood of the drop. Each sourced item is chosen with care, always with quality, fit, and cohesiveness in mind.
Together, these two approaches let each collection feel full, layered, and immersive — a mix of original art and carefully chosen treasures.
La Polillita is intentionally slow, intimate, and art-first.
