About La Polillita

La Polillita means “the Little Moth.” 🦋 I’ve always loved moths and their short-lived beauty. To me, they feel like the moodier counterpart to butterflies — lovely and delicate, but embodying a darker, stranger essence. It felt like the perfect name for this world.

This brand was created from a love of fashion, storytelling, and the unusual. Every collection carries its own theme and atmosphere (which is something I have fun with) but they all exist within the same dreamy, slightly eerie universe.

La Polillita is for people who are drawn to beauty with a stranger edge… faded colors, curious details, and pieces that feel a lil haunted. More than anything, I want these clothes to make you feel excited to get dressed… like you’re stepping into a new and mysterious world.

Since its creation, the brand has evolved from purely hand-drawn artwork by me paired with curated pieces, into smaller and more intentional collections. Many designs still come directly from my own ideas and artwork, while others incorporate licensed art sourced from independent artists whose work inspires me. Every outsourced design is used with a commercial license and carefully chosen to fit the spirit of the brand. I am excited to see how La Polillita can grow and expand in new directions in the future!
